Why is it Important Time-Warner Horror Stories What is U-verse? Get Union TV/Internet Sign the Pledge

Time Warner has been feeding at the public trough for too long!

Time Warner gets exclusive franchise agreements from local governments to protect it from competition! All we get are higher and higher cable fees every year.

What does Time Warner do with all of our money? They don't spend it on improving services or providing fair wages and benefits to their employees. In fact, their employees' wages and benefits are far below that of unionized employees doing similar jobs at AT&T, Cingular and Verizon.

Time Warner spends our money on marketing and advertising, lobbying, profits for their shareholders, and union-busting attorneys - none of which improve services or help our community.

Time Warner is NOT a friend nor responsible citizen.  They tout their contributions to a few charitable organizations, while they spend more on trying to deny employees - members of our community - the right to form a union and negotiate fair wages and benefits.

It's time to pull the plug on Time Warner's union-busting.

For the first time, many Metro Milwaukee residents have a choice.  We can now get our phone, high speed internet, and premium TV—complete with HD and digital recording—from a company that recognizes the rights of workers to organize a union.

That alternative, AT&T U-verse, is installed and maintained by union members who earn fair wages, have good benefits, and have the skills and knowledge to provide the highest quality service to the community.  As AT&T U-verse expands, many more good-paying union jobs will be created right here in Wisconsin.

Until Time Warner stops interfering with their workers’ right to form a union, pulling the plug on Time Warner and signing on to AT&T U-verse is the best way  to support good jobs for our community!

Support workers' rights.
